Initially founded by Peter Larrabee, the firm is currently headed by partners Sharon R. Mehlman, Fausta M. Albi, and Diana Vellos Coker. At present, our team is comprised of nine attorneys and over 30 para-professionals (paralegals, legal assistants, and administrative staff).

Our diverse staff brings a wide array of talents, education, and experience to their position. The firm is comprised of individuals who are proficient in Spanish, Italian, French, Russian, Japanese and Chinese. Additionally, several of our staff members hold advanced degrees.

Our firm has extensive experience in many aspects of immigration law, including all nonimmigrant visa types; labor certifications; employment-based and family-based immigrant visas; and adjustment of status and consular processing cases. Our attorneys’ substantive knowledge includes a full understanding of all potential ancillary issues, such as inadmissibility laws and issues and policies relating to national security. In addition, our attorneys are very active in the American Immigration Lawyers Association at local and national levels, which enhances our firm’s knowledge of constantly changing laws, policies and procedures, and allows us to make positive contributions to such changes.

Because immigration laws are constantly changing, we often interpret how new laws should be implemented. We are able to advise our clients and strategize with them on how to employ and retain employees in the face of these constantly changing immigration laws and procedures.
